No. I suspect that a good proportion of couples part company these days because they simply realize that life together is just not working out. I know of a number of couples who are no longer together but parted by common consent. Neither party left the other, the both left the partnership.
If you want statistics to be concerned about then I would think that the one, whatever it is, that describes the number of women who do not leave 'their' man because they do not have enough money is more interesting (and distressing).
