Girls, when having sex for the first time with a new partner, have you ever been self conscious about how you "smell"?

Weird question, I know. I ask, because when my wife and I had sex the first time, she told me she was worried she may have not been "fresh", mainly because it was very spontaneous and it was after we had been out all night. To me, she seemed very relaxed, as did all the other women I've been with, so I'm just wondering if it's common for other girls to feel that way but you're just good at hiding it. lol

I have been with my husband for 27 years and I still prefer to freshen up...fact is your smell changes through the month as your hormones do, so can make you a bit self conscious sometimes.

@JFinch Confidence is sooo hot! I dated a girl that was very timid, not upright, she loved sex but it was basically me on top or her on top, that was it. She didn't like me giving her oral of any kind(she thought it was gross)but oral is essential for me in a relationship. After six months, I saw she wasn't gonna change, so our relationship just fizzled out.
