what should i make of this?

it's a female coworkers last day at work today. she's only worked here for a few months. i am 22 years older than her. she asked me if we can exchange phone numbers and we did. she then tells me to call her the next time i go out for drinks. i just think it's a little odd that she'd do that because of our age gap whether it's just a friendly night out or otherwise. had i been her age i would have asked her out right then and there....what do you think?

Don't even touch it, there's too much generational incompatability. Trust me, I was wirh two different women that were both almost 20 years older than me, my ex wife and my late ex fiancee, it is a very strange feeling.

@NativePortlander1970 it’s an opposite dynamic when the man is older. I’m 53 and my gf is in her 20’s.

@AthrillatheHunt Totally demented, my late ex fiancee didn't find out until after she married her second husband that he was 34 years older than her, that he constantly treated her like a child, and felt like one despite that she was 32 herself at the time. Age disparities can and often do negatively affect the younger partner when it crosses generational lines that wide.

@NativePortlander1970 she just turned 21 in Feb and doesn’t drink . I know the Oedipus remark must have stung and brought up old memories . But you did kind of ask for it with the judgement.

@AthrillatheHunt You said you had been with her for two years and say she just turned 21, that means you were with her when she was 18, or close to it, I bet 100 to 1 Vegas odds you oogled her when she was underage.
