My own extended family did this to me back in July 1997 with my cousin's birthday, who was I once believed closer to me than my own brothers, paid for my grandmother, who died last week and betrayed me less than a month after that, I had just given her over $300 cash for half of the monthly rent, which funded his birthday at the Olive Garden. At present was my cousin, his wife, their two young kids, his sister with her second husband and her two young kids, his mother, my aunt, her second husband and his two older kids, another uncle with two of his daughters, and another uncle with second wife with his youngest daughter and her only child, a daughter. The only reason why another uncle and his wife weren't there was because they were banned from that Olive Garden because their only child, a daughter, was a spaz as a child in restaurants, and they'd refuse to control her. Strangely enough it was my day off and I was hanging out with some work friends at the coffee shop next door when I saw them going into the restaurant. I never knew why they all kept this a secret from me.
