political views, religion, etc. are based on individual philosophies and/or morals; so, no, I have no romantic interest in someone with opposing principles

I'm also hesitant about having any other kind of bond with someone who claims that it plays no part in their relationships as they tend to be more disingenuous/untrustworthy. (i.e. a "friend" that would trade their integrity for companionship/popularity will be the first to stab you in the back)
