He's too hard on me

My older brother said something I didn't like so I pushed him multiple times and then was screaming in his face. He is 21 years older than me and is so bossy he wanted me to stop talking to my bf cause we were being mean to each other. then he told me to go to my room but instead I ran out the front door and then he followed behind me and carried me bak into the house and threw me in my room but when I started slamming the door he came back and hit me. Is he being too hard on me or abusive?
