Would you be with someone who is physically disabled?

I am wondering if you liked someone, you meet them by chance or have liked them for some time and they walk with a limp are noticably in pain. Would that stop you from starting a relationship with them? So I've had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 2 years old, I walk with a bit of a limp and on my bad days I can barely walk. I'm curious if you see someone, you find them attractive and they have a great personality but has a limp, would you still ask them out? I'm not gonna lie my chronic pain really messes with my head at times and I honestly feel that most men wouldn't want to be with me because of my chronic pain. I see myself as damaged good in all reality. So I just want to poke into the minds of others to see if it would impact how you feel about someone. Would you date someone who is physically disabled?

I know I am months behind on this post, but I wanted to reply. I think for me this is such an important post to comment on.

I personally would, in a heartbeat, date someone like you describe. To me so much of the connection needs to be something that isn't dependent on how we age, or how our health is. I personally have gone through changes in the past 15 years health wise, that I could totally understand if I had been married, my partner leaving me. My life is not the same as it was.

I certainly see myself as somewhat damage goods.

@Pherick yessss I feel you it's such a struggle honestly. At times i feel like I'm punishing my partner by having to deal with my issues. Other times I'm so grateful I have him so yeah it's a catch 22
