You ever try to feel bad for someone, but they keep making the same mistakes?

Dude at work, kinda came out that he got cheated on, took time off, was never really the same, but was still with his girlfriend. Then, bam, got cheated on again. And again. Most of us were trying to get him in the right mindset, but now we kinda see that it's all on him. He's doing it to himself. Just goes to show you that you can try your hardest, but some people won't learn.
