Is it normal to have both a girlfriend and a female best friend?

@RedBaron normal(a common practice): for young people to play cupid when they see people together a lot. The Younger some is, the more assumptions they make.

@Mindful But “normal” is a relative term meaning different things to different people. It’s a problematic word.

@Mindful Right, some think it's "normal" for your partner and your best friend to be the same person, I don't want that personally.

@JimFarris16 well, you already have a best friend, and to be honest, it is always healthy to have a best friend outside of your relationship to bounce ideas off of or release some stressors and say things you would never want to say when your in a fit of anger.
