My ex husband had a best friend who I thought was amazing human being. Turns out, she was lesbian so I didn’t feel too threatened —even tho he had slept with her once, just to make sure that they ko were both sure she was lesbian. It made sense to me. His new wife made him dump her.

@JimFarris16 I still think it’s normal

@Mindful I introduced her to my girlfriend, she liked her. Everyone was trying to pair her and I up in middle school, actually after then too lol

@JimFarris16 that is also normal… people love playing Cupid.

It's normal.. lol
If your gf is not jealous, you won't have a problem..

You can pick and choose whoever you like.

Although speaking from personal experience if your other half starts questioning why you have a female best friend ?, kill that 'jealousy' immediately !

A world of pain awaits if you don't.

@Picklebobble2 I was finally able to introduce them properly and she didn't question that, in fact she loves my best friend now and vice versa. They might become best friends themselves.

What is normal?

@RedBaron ah, it’s a common practice, not an isolated event so don’t worry - it happens to many

@Mindful Right, some think it's "normal" for your partner and your best friend to be the same person, I don't want that personally.

@JimFarris16 well, you already have a best friend, and to be honest, it is always healthy to have a best friend outside of your relationship to bounce ideas off of or release some stressors and say things you would never want to say when your in a fit of anger.
