Normal or not?

My bf asked his friend to go see the fireworks with him on the 4th of July instead of me. He didn’t even ask me wheat my plans were that day he just told me, “me and my friend are gonna go out to dinner then go see the fireworks on the 4th”. Isn’t that something couples should do together first? Am I overreacting and overthinking?

@Colemanchloe326 nope, you're not. can't say i understand but i'm sure you could tell him that you wished you could have seen the fireworks with him or you could just ask him who he went with. but if he avoids the question or the topic maybe just give him some time .
