@mellie I am a Divorced single dad. I have no desire for my ex I treat her with respect because she is the mother of my child. Now first this means he is an active father that is important. Now put the shoe on the other foot if you married and had a kid or kids would you want a man to accept you and your kids or only want you and ditch the kids. Go for it he sounds like a good guy give him a chance.

If you don't have time and interest in being involved with his children then it's best to move on. A good dad will always put his kids first.
