Before learning the psychology behind grooming predators I said like everyone else "Not my business" "Age is just a number" "As long as they're 18+ I don't mind"
But now with all the facts out on the table I do react on people who deliberately wanna date someone 10-15-20 years younger than them.
People think grooming only can happen to a minor but that's false. Grooming can happen to young adults too. Where the other partner deliberately choose an insecure younger person to easily control and manipulate them in to a marriage. And lock them in.
I'm turning 32 soon and I could never even consider dating a 19+y old who just graduated high school. To me that's still a kid. It feels really weird that I as a 30+y old don't wanna meet a partner my own age who has the same amount of time and life experience as me and so we are equals in the relationship instead of one adult and one kid.
Everyone I know who have been groomed as young adults or as teens have a history of sexual abuse or other kinds of abuse from childhood. Easy targets by predators as they are so easily manipulated and don't know what boundaries are or that they have a fawn response rather than their own will and they don't even know it.
