What's really going on in modern day relationships in the west?

I've heard, and seen, many videos about how our world is. It's not just that, the people I've talked to had these types of problems too.

The dynamic between men and women has changed. Simple as that.

For good? For bad? Not for me to say; its a very complex topic.

The fact, though, is the way men and women interact nowadays is very different than how it was a couple generations ago.

And when the landscape changes the way one can best navigate it changes too.

A lot of people, as always, are having a hard time adjusting to these changes because humans are always wont to keep doing what they have always done even if it is no longer feasible.

@Eternity This hits pretty deep. But it's also so true.

About a decade or so ago, dating was pretty heavy and it's a way to interact one another. Men chase women, women acknowledged men to an extent, and marriages were pretty decent.

Ever since the internet became a huge thing in the early 2000's, including social media like TikTok and Instagram in the 2010's, even dating apps like Bumble and Tinder, dating is nothing but a game and can ruin a lot of them. Time changed, but the whole dating market definitely evolved into something that it's getting less and less... meaningful.

@xSiFiGamer2016x things are a lot more nuanced, anyone who claims to have it all figured out is lying.

Everyone's ideal approach is relative to themselves.

Only way to figure yours out is to get out there and interact while maintaining a base form rooted in confidence tempered by humility, respect for both the other and for yourself, dignity, and loose expectations.

@Eternity Basically, the more you understand yourself and the world, the better the outcome?

@xSiFiGamer2016x exactly.

That is true for pretty much all things but it applies here especially.

@Eternity I guess it's time for people to make the right decisions, because right now most aren't. It'll hurt many in the long run.
