I think I'd be a little upset. But I don't think I'd be mad, or anything like that.

We make plans for birthdays and holidays together, so I don't forsee it being a problem unless we really fuck up our communication in the future.

1 year wedding anniversary coming up soon. We'll make plans together for that too.

@Scribbles When you plan things together, who generally brings up the impending event? Is it usually one or the other of you or is it random?

@sarabee1995 🤔 Well, mostly random. Alot of it has to do with our personalities and what each other feels the need to talk about-so that person initiates it.

I have more of a need to get organized the family oriented holidays or whatever the main social event is and tend to initiate conversations about that if I know details or planning is needed. Or if I'm excited to do whatever.

He's more likely to initiate conversations when he thinks we can make a day of it, or do something before or afterwards...because he feels the need to make the most of a day. Or is excited to do something with me. He's more extroverted then I am.

@Scribbles Oh cool. I like that. When I was dating Mark, it was 100% on me to recognize something was coming up and to make plans for us. Now it's more 50/50. 🙂

@sarabee1995 most things for us are 50/50. I really like that in our relationship. We also use a shared Google calendar and things like that. It's pretty nice. :)

@Scribbles Lol, we just started keeping a shared Google calendar! It's awesome. And it was her idea. 🙂

@sarabee1995 It's so nice isn't it. I'm also glad for the shopping list app that we share. Saves on so much time. We used to use on where you click on the recipe or meal and it automatically puts the ingredients on a shopping list and you can edit it as needed. Put you have to pay for some recipes so we switched over to a more generic shopping organizer. It's a nice way to help meal plan for the week though, espeically if you want to try something different.

@Scribbles That's cool. We're not living together so not yet any big need to share shopping lists. But I use Google Keep Notes for all my lists. They are shareable as well.
