Should I ask him to give me my money back?

I guess it’s not so much the money but it’s more me just being so angry. I went out with a guy who was married the whole time which I didn’t know. He completely lied to me about so many things and hurt me so much. I made him a huge basket of chocolate which cost me $200 and I know I did this and he didn’t force me to do it but I found out he ended up giving it to his cousins who ate like 80% of it and it just really annoyed me he took a gift from me while being married and just giving it to his cousins. Do I have a right to be angry?

Yes but anger will get you nowhere. It’s a wasted emotion and a waste of time. Just cut the guy off and move one. Life is short.

You’ve got every right to be angry. Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely they’re going to give you the money back and you expressing that anger probably won’t get a reaction you’d get closure from (remorse) for since they already suck as a person. If you think it would help you to let out your anger on them then it’s worth it as long as you know they are probably just going to piss you off and hurt you more by not caring how they hurt you.

Shit girl. So so so sorry to hear that. Don't ask for the money back okay ? It doesn't make much sense. Just delete and block this bad link from your life. From what I've seen of you here, you deserve better...

Live and learn (hopefully). No, you shouldn't ask for your money back. You shouldn't even have any contact with this guy.

Yea you do have a right. You’ve got a right to feel anything you want to feel poppet.
Sorry to hear that story 😞

That's so crappy. I'd just let it go, block his toxicity from your life.

Yes you have a right to feel angry if someone lied to you but I don't think "asking for money back" would be very productive. $200 of chocolates? That's £166 here. That's a heck of a lot of chocolate. I'm not surprised he couldn't eat it all himself. Learn from this and move on.

@Fluffybull You’re spot on there. Good advice.
