Here? As in on SW? It's not really a dating app, but I can see how connections can be made, just as they could on a dating app.

The combination of social media, dating apps, online forums, smartphones, Zoom, Whatsapp, etc. makes getting accurate stats on infidelity may be problematic for a number of reasons.
What's cheating? Different opinions. Is sending someone you never met, and you do not want to meet cheating? What if it's a nude pic? Is online flirting OK? Is having a drink with someone you connected with online OK? How about kissing someone? How about going to second base? How about oral sex? Had someone here say she did not have sex, because it was only oral sex. Bill Clinton said that.
Is infidelity the same, regardless of your sexual orientation? There aren't that many studies covering the LGBTQ segment of the population.
Is being married different from being in a relationship?
"Cheating" in the 18-25 age group, is also somewhat fluidly defined, and the definition of cheating is stretched to the max.
There are ways to minimize this. Have your own set of rules, or more like what you want from a relationship, have an open discussion with the person you think you're in a relationship with.

My brother once told me that everyone cheats and people only pretend to get mad when it happens to them. And I was just sitting there like, excuse me what the fuck

@BlueVeins Some offense intended, but your brother sounds like he eats crayons dipped in mayo.

Relationships aren't for everybody. Some people stay in miserable relationships rather than stay single
