Relationships, eh?
One of those days and nights....
Firstly, the anticipation of going to the football (Soccer to all those of you in America Land!) to watch Liverpool play against my beau's team, Nottingham Forest. Anticipation because it's been 20+ years since Nottingham Forest has been in the Premier League, having been promoted in the summer, and not played against Liverpool in any form since then.
Forest having a simply shocker of a season (so far) and, although Liverpool hasn't played at their best they are still one of the very best throughout the world...
Seeing 2 Magpies in the garden before we went over to the ground was, perhaps, a great omen...
And then....fantastic atmos......and.....a win! Wow! Yes, we beat Liverpool!
Matt was more than relieved....and shouted himself hoarse! To celebrate, we had a few drinks out with his bodybuilding - and fellow Nottingham Forest supporters - friends, tea out......and then more beers with his friends.
I'm a lightweight; just a few glasses of white wine for moi...but...Matt? He was...gone!
Thankfully, his mate Dan helped me pop him into a taxi and take him home...and then, thankfully, helped me into the house with him.
I dumped him on the sofa then went to bed myself, covered him with a spare quilt....and a bucket by his side.
My boy is never normally like that, just he got carried away....
Today? Bad head....bless him.
He's been......erhhhhh....fragile.....all day.
