I still can't get over this sentence told by some aunty that my husband should have married a girl having green card

I still can't get over this sentence told by some aunty of my husband. She told my husband "You should have married some girl who would have been ID card holder". Seriously while I think about it, she depicted herself as the some selfish people of bikat uneducated terai region who would judge their daughter in law based on how much dowry they will bring in the house or even burn them to death due to that reason.
