It was probably a matter of expectations not aligning. I didn't hear how she used you. For many women they expect the guy to pay for dates. Its not that they are using you but they have traditional mindset.
She paid the first time not as a trick but to show you that I am not here for your money I just want to know who you are and I won't accept payment untill I know that I like you.
By paying for everything the first time she may have even felt that she really laid herself at your feet so to speak because she is the female.
So after a few more dates you have the nerve as a man to ask why you have to pay?
Automatic block because its obvious that you have no understanding of the rules of engagement or what she expects from a man or how interested she was.
