how long can you really hold on to a relationship if all you have is love?

stumble over the understanding the trust can't get along just five and a half years of deep love and care for each other but an understanding that neither of us will ever see eye to eye and we're not really compatible how do you let go of that attachment of just love?

By being actually loving .. love is not just holding on. It is also letting go when you are convinced that is the right thing to do .. when you then hold onto that person .. you are doing it for any/all the reasons other than love ..
