how long can you really hold on to a relationship if all you have is love?

stumble over the understanding the trust can't get along just five and a half years of deep love and care for each other but an understanding that neither of us will ever see eye to eye and we're not really compatible how do you let go of that attachment of just love?

It’s actually easy once you’re apart and living the lives you’ve each grown into separately. My ex husband and I both understood we had changed and let it go easily.
