I've talked about this extensively in the past with friends here and in real life.

In my opinion, no. Dating is exploring possibilities for a future and I do want a future partner to grow old with.

I know that most people don't feel this way.

@sarabee1995 I feel this way. Most people assume that if you date someone, thats it, u need to be commited to that one person. But how are u going to get to know people?
Yeah if you been seeing eachother for a while and u like eachother, sure there must be commitment; but at the beginning, when you are still searching, I think it's normal to date more than one, to find out who matches your values and personality most.
