Why do weirdos reject other weirdos? Shouldn't that be a match made in heaven?

Every weirdo is weird in a different way - hence they have nothing in common.
The weirdo is never weird to him or her self, only to others.

Or, to be more precise, like beauty, that which is "weird" is purely in the mind of the person who thinks it.

"Normal" is a fiction - just a range of variations about 5º either side of the top of a bell curve on any specific attribute.

We are all different in countless ways.

I first heard heard this old one from my grandmother:
"All the world art queer, dear,
excepting thou and I,
and even thou, dear,
art a little queer."
In her time, "queer" meant weird or odd, not gay.
