I'm so sick and tired of being the parent in this relationship

I can't believe a simple conversation asking him to be there for me (regarding a non-relationship matter) has turned our night sour (as it usually does). I'm so saddened that I don't have anyone I can confide in. I'm constantly babysitting. I just feel so alone...

I am in the same boat. I am sure there are differences, but it does get incredibly lonely. Sorry you are dealing with all of that. I saw your reply to someone's comment and, yes, it is SO hard to make a change and take the steps to do what is good for you. I am right there with that too, and being a parent makes it even more difficult to navigate. I hope you find the strength to do what you need, what will be best for you.
