@SW-User The thing is, is once your kid becomes an adult, they can make their own choices. Respecting and considering your parents opinion of course, but this isn't the 1950s anymore where girls are owned by their fathers until they get married at 18 at the end of high school. If I have a daughter, sure I'll be protective, but allow her to make her own choices as an adult. Firsthand, I've seen what overprotective parents do... cause their children to rebel and make poor choices anyways.
