I GOT A DATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st time in like a decade!
She' married. But this is just a bike ride to a different part of town that she doesn't know much of and so we can have great fish and chips tomorrow for lunch.
It's going to be so nice to go out and about and I am not going to be by myself, as usual! 😊

It seems like you're confusing people here by calling it a date and then reassuring everyone that it's really not a date. And you made a point to mention that she's married. So it all comes across muddled and confused.

"I have a lunch and fishing outing with a coworker. I'm looking forward to it because it's two activities I often end up doing alone. I hope we become better friends and can do more fun outings together."

No mention of dates. Or even the gender of the friend. Less confusing.

Just food for thought.

@RosaMarie when I placed the question I felt very happy. A kid in the candy store. But as I read the reponses back I began to feel different and maturity came about.
