It depends... what is their job and how much is it helping the family?
Because if their job is something extremely important, like saving people lives or something, or extremely helping and being a life saver for others, then it's more understandable why their job is so important. Obviously most jobs aren't like this. But I think this needed to be noted.
Also, how much is it helping the family? Like is she making millions and going to let us retire much earlier?
Otherwise, I think family needs to come first, though obviously we all got our job to do.
