I don't mind being told I look nice or even pretty, but "hot" says people are seeing me in a whole different way.
I don't wish for many to see me as "hot"

@SW-User depending who it comes from “hot” means screwable but sometimes it’s just meant that they look extra good. If I tell my best friend she looks hot it doesn’t mean I want to go to her bedroom. It means she has it going on. Nothing wrong with that.
