I don't know if I have the words. The wonderful man I have been dating for over two years has asked me to be his bride. I held on to the hope that one day I would be married (again), but since he and I were both divorced before, I figured if it happened at all it would be after many, many (many) years together and having built a life together.
In his style, there was nothing special planned. No anniversary, or event that might tip me off as to what he was doing. We were coming back from a walk, we had just walked into our apartment. I had turned to close the door, and when I turned back he was on one knee. I saw the ring, he started to speak and got "Wh..." out before I screamed "YES!"
He picked me up in his arms, and soon the beautiful ring was on my finger. My heart if so full of joy, and happiness that I find myself just staring at my hand and smiling.
