Is it just me oorrrrr?
Does a guy have to flirt with you 24/7 to mean he likes you or is he allowed to talk normal 🤣🤔 I know how silly this question is trust me… haha! but usually I don’t believe a guy even likes me unless he’s overdoing it and the guy I’ve been talking to has not been overdoing it. He used to but he has pulled back some. Which I should see as a good thing right? Cause I feel like someone who over does it might be a red flag? Unless I’m just being friend zoned? I still don’t believe he likes me😂 but then again, this is my problem when I meet new people. I didn’t even think my ex liked me and he ended up being crazy about me😂 I’m the type of person who doesn’t think anyone likes her…im constantly in denial so a lot of that stuff really goes over my head.
We’ve been friends for about a month and at the beginning he asked me how it was possible that I was even single. I just told him cause I don’t put myself out there as much as I should I guess….he said I had what everyone was looking for these days and he’s said that I was unique and different and amazing and smart and he liked that we had similar personalities and senses of humor and how I can take a joke and dish ‘em out…..At times caught himself before he got ahead of himself. He would say “I forget I can’t say certain things to you because we haven’t known each other for that long but it feels like I’ve known you since high school.”
I mean he makes me little things (a mini jewelry box with a picture of him in it, he wrote me letters and spent all this time drawing all over them and decorating them, he crochets things and wants to make me a beanie.) calls me cute, adorable, hun, love, and babe as a joke but he hasn’t said it the past couple days. Yesterday he told me “we’re out of the friend zone, right? Like now we’re in the best friend zone” and I told him “I mean sure but I don’t flirt with my best friends so I just can’t call you cute or any of that” and he’s like “but if you think about it, most people and couples are usually married to or are dating their best friend, so.” I know I’m just a stupid girl who’s overthinking it but I dunno…I guess I’m kinda vibing with him so I can’t help but wonder sometimes? I know I’m bad at picking up on signals but maybe there really are none🤣
