Probably same reason many women have boob enhancements, lip fillers, and increasingly labiaplasty.

Continually we're all bombarded with the view that we need to buy the right deodorant, fragrance, work out regime, make up, plastic surgery etc etc to be "perfect". So we continually suffer from comparison fatigue etc. We're not told enough to value what we are, to admire natural Vs fabricated, to value diversity and uniqueness etc etc
