I've never been in a relationship before

I haven't dated for a lot of years but the main thing is to *breathe* and take your time, and if for any reason you're not comfortable be honest enough to say so. Remember dating isn't about sex (although most people think it is) - it's about getting to know another person to see if you'd feel ok spending a lot of time with them. Romance and intimacy are natural extensions but that's not what dates are supposed to be about.
