I was scolded by a hag one day for holding the door open to the next person behind me. The hag told me it was sexist to hold the door for a woman. I calmly told the hag that I didn't know it was a woman. Then the hag got really angry. I laughed for hours.

Holding the door open for someone, especially someone who is carrying things, is just being polite. I do it all the time for people of all ages.

Most women (ladies) do not consider a courtesy like someone opening a door for them to be "sexist". Many women open doors for others without even considering what their sex is, because a simple courtesy like that is just a natural inclination.

I'll hold the door for anyone. All though, I get worried when it is a younger lady. I just tell myself to look at the floor. Which ticks me off in so many ways.
