Can i ask a question ? Why would you repeatedly talk about your ex to other people constantly if she did you wrong and it was a long time it happen

She's just coming into my head a lot . I didn't think of her in ages up until about a 1 year ago and since then she's after coming back flooding into my mind ?
We ended bad , a few nasty things said on my behalf cause I knew she was cheating on me . I've nothing against her and I wish her the best but I can't understand why she's flooding into my mind again .
I can't seem to let her go out of my mind . Is it trauma or is it something else I just dont know.

Any chance you’re lonely? I think sometimes when people get lonely, they tend to start thinking about someone from their past.

@Sheer Thank you . I think that's what it is ? I wasn't with a woman in a long time . I've friends that are woman . I was friendly with a woman for 5 years , 9 years , and nothing never happened sexually with them , but my ex especially comes back into my mind . It's so frustrating being honest . I thought I could leave her go but mentally I didn't

@riseofthemachine if it’s just because you’re lonely, I think it’s not really about her. Like it could be any woman you had an intimate relationship with. You know? It’s not so much that you want her back, it’s just that you want an intimate relationship again?

@Sheer I've woman friends and when I'm around my woman friends she still comes into my head . She's after having a big impact on me mentally being honest .
Is that she was apart of my life ?

@Sheer She had a big impact in my life , she hurt me the most out of everyone that hurt me in my past and the hurt she caused wasn't that big compared to the people hurt before if that makes any sense

@riseofthemachine okay well you probably shouldn’t get back with someone who cheated on you, although I guess there are some times when it works out. Trust can be difficult and stuff...

@Sheer The reason why I didn't date is that I didn't want to get hurt again , especially trust issues .
I suppose you can't be living your life like that either but I got more secure in myself when I figured out I was single . I got stronger and stronger .
NY ex was a very soft person but she was easily led and that's were I have a soft spot for her still
