Are women more emotional than men? Or is that just a stereotype?

Society permits girls to express their emotions much more freely, and it seems to persist into adult life.
This is the flip side of toxic masculinity. It's usually framed as harmful to women (e.g. manifesting in violence) but it doesn't serve men well either (e.g. bottling up emotions leading to higher suicide rates).

@DarkMoon I think you may need to look into the difference between toxic masculinity, and a masculine person being toxic.
