There is no point in a man's saying anything because he knows very well that no one is listening. So why bother saying anything? this is why men become quiter with age.

@SW-User yup, as we know from behavioral psychology, lack of reward suppresses the antecedent behavior. If you ignore a child when he talks for years ,he will eventually grow up to be reticent.
