I Believe A Relationship Is Built On Respect And Trust

Which my relationship is totally lacking. And I realised the main problem here. The reason to him lacking respect towards me is the fact that since we met I was extremely self-conscious, had very little confidence and was super shy... So I am in his eyes worth as much as that shy girl and not a woman I am growing up to be. I feel like I am worth a lot more now, more than he treats me like...
But the question is, what do I do with the relationship?..

@Soultobe: Maybe just sit down and talk to him. It's hard, but tell him how you're feeling. If he loves you he'll take it on board.

Today when he was rude, and I said he wasn`t nice to me, especially after I treated him massively, his reply was "What are you actually complaining about? I`m not talking about this anymore. It`s ridiculous." So how am I supposed to react to this?..

@Soultobe: That's a bloody disgusting thing for him to say to you! I really hate to say it but if I was you I wouldn't put up with that. You deserve better. Might be time to take a break.

@TakingABreak: That was exactly what I wanted actually. I constantly think that he replies in a rude way to me, yet how can I be sure that this isn`t normal and that all men aren`t like that. So it was nice to hear that it was a disgusting reply
