Sometimes we set ourselves up. For instance, if you are the sort of person who always is punctual and prompt but have a friend who tells time by the sun and badly, don't plan something with them that's time sensitive, because if you book an afternoon cruise for the two of you, you're going to be fuming and watching the boat set sail while they're trying to find their other shoe.
If you analyze why you keep getting hurt, what are the triggers, you may be able to salvage the friendship and limit the bleeding.

If you care for them you give them once more chance then after that, no point they will just keep doing it. If they don't care for you as you do them don't give them the time
