Cool story, but what's the conspiracy? If the drug is about to be approved, they don't need sponsors for research anymore. Attention for the disease isn't going to create more patients to sell the drug to. So Pfizer staged this for name recognition or something? After the last two years I don't think there is anyone left on this planet who doesn't know the company yet, so that seems rather pointless.
It actually has happened to me. Not 15 years later, but with medical files being digital and searchable, it shouldn't be a lot of work to get back in touch with all of them.

Fine, it’s clear you have no idea how much clerical work a doctor has to do each day. There is simply no time in the day for such busy work for a benign,non-threatening condition.
Well, if it was staged to draw attention to their new treatment, kudos to their marketing department for their creativity. It was a lot more entertaining than a commercial break. 🤷
