@SW-User Laugh…you are correct sir. Two of my favorites Debra Jo Fondren and Dorthy Stratton. Out of nostalgia I still have a couple of the Anniversary issues. I all seriousness though, some very famous authors wrote stories for Playboy back in the day. Alex Haley, Issac Asimov to name just two.

The fiction was my favorite, actually... Roald Dahl's The Visitor stood out to me. There was also the perfect "What would you wish for" story that turned out just fine for the wisher lol. How extraordinary is that?

@SW-User I concur. Some of it was really good. It introduced me to a number of authors I might not have read otherwise.
I don’t know the Visitor story. I’ll have to check it out on one of the Playboy archive sites.
