When I was a luggage handler at O'Hare in 1973 I was taking a load to the international terminal and I saw the nose of a black jet come around the corner. The Playboy bunny was on the tail fin. I went back later, the door was open, so I went in. Two gorgeous stewardesses in bunny outfits and thigh-high leather boots. The interior was carpeted in white shag, ceiling too.

@SW-User I went to the Chicago Playboy Club to apply for a job. The doorman wouldn't even let me in.

Do you remember Allan Sherman's "Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh!"?
If you do, he wrote a piece for Playboy called Sex and the Single Sherman. Funny as all get out.
Most of my reading back then came from Playboy. Roald Dahl wrote "The Visitor" which impressed me greatly, too. Not sure if it was exclusively for Playboy at the time or not.

@SW-User I never was much of a Playboy fan. I honestly only bought them for the articles. The last one I bought was the December 1980 issue. I spent all day on December 8 reading the interview with John Lennon' and listening to The Beatles and his new album. That evening a friend called and said she had just heard on the radio he had been shot.

I remember certain Playmates like it was yesterday. Not seeing "everything" made your imagination more acute. LOL
It was the fiction for me. Much said in such relatively few words.
Lennon's being shot was a huge deal. It must've hit you especially hard.

@SW-User @hunkalove Do you both remember the movie Kirstie Alley made for TV in the early 80's where she played a Bunny undercover for some newspaper.
