I Love the Library

I am thankful that the library has changed with the times. The library in our city has a dozen computers, coffee makers, and a place to meet. It's not the quiet, empty place that I remember as a kid. It's a pleasure to visit, read a magazine and drink some coffee.

I haven't set foot in a library for years (I don't really like reading in them), but it's interesting that yours would allow people to drink while reading books. Personally, I would be afraid of spillages and stains left on the pages!

@Hiraeth It must happen occasionally but the increase in usage by families and teens seems worth the risk.

We have what we call "Literary coffee bars"...people go, take a seat, ask for their favourite coffee and select a book from the store shelves...
