Ambling.
Meandering. (It sounds vaguely "meandering", to my ears!)
Pottering.
Piffling.
Squiggle (A friend once told me, "Maths is all 'squiggles' and I don't do 'squiggles' ". She is a retired anaesthetic nurse and medical tutor so I suppose was more concerned with 'squidgies'.)
Gurgle. (Wonderful onomatopoeia.)
Chortle
Rhubarb
