Love love love, or is it the donuts speaking
Twas a nice day and it is coming gradually to a close, maybe 1 or 2 more hours of reading. I like to alternate the modern with the cozy classics, the bold and unnerving with the soporific and benign.
When i'm not feeding my mind with literature, there's a threat of being seized with sentimentalism, that is best when i'm drugged and ready to sleep, may my dreams be filled with sweet rich melancholy, and my waking hours be filled with the thrill of discovery, the love of learning, the need to be challenged.
We need all facets of consciousness to work on us in their own time and setting, and we can be usefully effected by each thing over time, when we feel overwhelmed we perhaps just need to be patient for a way of proceeding to open up naturally. For a contemplative nature is possible for all, and can be nourished, all that is needed is a desire for it, and a patience, space to let such facets of our being to flourish and time for such to bear fruit, the sun of joy, the rain of sorrow.
