Les Miserables

There's a passing reference to deMaistre, and so the next thing i'll be recording is Cioran's Maistre essay from Anathemas and Admirations, see or hear rather how thinking ablaze sounds like. but the reader of it does not get my stamp of approval because he makes Cioran sound wimpy and whiny, that's not how Cioran sounds when i'm just reading him myself, he's an urbane wit speaking laconically in my head, like a French detective, pulpy version who's keeping a diary of his bleak outlook on life.
