I must approach my books in a more orthodox way, one at a time

What I plan on beginning and completing before listening to a second of anything else are the 3 favorite Dickens novels of Katie from Books and Things

1. Dombey and Son -- 41 hours -- May 16 to May 20
2. Little Dorrit -- 40 hours -- May 21 to May 24
3. Our Mutual Friend -- 35 hours -- May 25 to May 28

Each being length wise like a long running tv show binging them mostly while doing nothing else but listening.

If you like Jane Austen novels at all, you should check out Rosamund Pike's readings of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

My two Austen faves had always been P&P and Emma. Pike's reading of Sense and Sensibility really helped bring out the sly Austen wit in that book.

All substantial books. The only one I really don't know is Dombey and Son. The others are splendid and you will enjoy them as long as you have a good reader.
