One more update
I had to cancel Audiobooks.com, as the kinds of books I want aren't available to get with their stinkin' free credits. I have 29 days to listen to Sigrid Undset's famed trilogy, unless I get to keep that, if not no biggie, because as I have the kindle e-book of it, if I get it on audible there'd be their nifty Read and Listen feature, they put the text on the screen in the audible app, and each word as said is highlighted!!
And also for audible, they offered 3 months with 50% off, so I'll be doing that which is just a 1 credit a month plan. More than enough, I cannot be greedy, have to be frugal, and get through what can be enjoyed without any further expenses.
Monthly subscriptions hence will be around 50, for 3 services
1. Audible
2. Naxos
and 3. Instacart
It is set in stone, but after 3 months it'll balloon up to around 60, maybe more if the Canadian dollar decreases in value.
This post was composed whilst listening to Bill Homewood's Les Miserables recording, i'm not the biggest fan of his narration which can veer into the silly realm, that is why I need the Penguin edition of that great classic, and I have the e-book of it, READ & LISTEN goodness awaits!! Lazy person's reading, not having to tap on the side of the device to go to the next page, it's all done for you, now if humanity ever manages to have a device to eat for you, and thus hunger is averted without having to do anything and for a low monthly price, that would be a really good invention, I'd say!!
