I just got 7 more audiobooks!!

4 true crime stuff and the 3 volumes of Horrorbabble's Weird Fiction short stories.

I won't go into detail of the true crime stuff, but it is becoming fast a little obsession, i don't know how to explain it, but i feel like i need to learn about the worst in human behavior, and it's a part of my spooky season stuff, i can't say enjoyment, but it's interesting, and with these anthologies of case histories that don't go into too much depth, i can then search for documentaries on the scum of society on YouTube to further the exploration.

And Horrorbabble has a great narrator in Ian Gordon, 60+ hours of classic spooks, he does one for Lovecraft, but i'm going through the HPLHS recording, so i don't need it atm. Audible Plus has another Lovecraft recording too. I'm not a big Lovecraft fan, but those 30's style radio plays of his stories in the Dark Adventure series are very good, and enjoyable, they're about 7 dollars each, and might exhaust the rest of my Visa funds on them, there's 9 of them to get still .... in cash i have enough for those 30 dollar cartons and some more gummies, i won't be drinking this coming month, just a gentle THC haze will augment my macabre and spooky interests.

My previous post about dad should show that i don't know how to handle it all, when it's right there up close and a few other things that compound the frustrations (mice, phone problems, and things going missing) ... seeing dad as having some kind of medically explained condition has to sink in for me so i can allow empathy is seep into my psyche where only rage and a tenuous grasp of sanity is currently.
