My Christian audiobooks
There is not a whole lot for this, but some basics:
1. City of God -- Augustine -- Mark Meadows is the one to get instead of the other one.
2. Summa Theologica -- in 5 volumes, what i'm listening to as I type here. with Martyn Swain doing a swell job.
3. Institutes of the Christian Religion -- a fundamental Reformed theology text by John Calvin, with solid narration by Bob Souer. Some say he sounds robotic, but to me it's just clear, crisp and sober.
4. A Body of Divinity -- Thomas Watson -- a great Puritan work, narrator ok, not noteworthy to me.
5. CS Lewis Essential Audio Library -- 9 non-fiction works, some great narrators in this!
That is what i'm happy about, but a few months ago I purchased an Andrew Murray and Josh McDowell to play for dad, I have ceased to do so as it encourages him to talk endlessly about faith things, I deeply dislike that, and i've explored this feeling quite a bit here.
